What you'll learn in this sushi making class:

Sushi Rolling Birthday Package for 5 or more

Additional seat $90 (maximum of 16 guests, but for bigger groups please contact us as we can possibly host it in another location)

The birthday package for 5 guests have a service charge of $50 ($10 per guest)

Age requirements: 12 and older. Alcohol will only be served for guests 21 years old and above. Underage students can enjoy our homemade drinks as a substitute

Sushi-teria is a Japanese restaurant located at the Empire State Building. We take pride in serving quality sushi for the past 8 years in Midtown.

Learn how to make sushi rolls with our highly trained chefs, Chef Tony and Chef Alex. Whether you are booking the class as a corporate event or with friends and family, we guarantee FUN in our class. 

Our chefs choose a Master Roller of the Night to receive a bottle of sake or a gift card as a treat! Enjoy our homebrewed low sodium soy sauce and homemade spicy mayo. Get firsthand tips and techniques on how our chefs make sushi at home for their friends and family. Our goal is to add sushi rolls in your meal planning at home!

In this course you will learn the following:

  • The technique in preparing sushi rice
  • How to choose Sushi Grade Ingredients
  • How to make traditional rolls and handroll
  • Sushi History and other fun facts!

The class includes a 5 inch Sushi Cake, party hats, unlimited edamame and a bottle of water.

IMPORTANT: We cater to dietary needs ex: gluten free, vegetarian. By default, our class starts at 6 pm, but your group can choose between 6 pm – 7 pm to start the class, just let us know!

Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made 1 week prior to the scheduled class in order to be considered for credit towards a future class. 

Sushi Class cancellation: 30% of total due will be charged if the class is canceled 48 hours before the scheduled event. 50% of total due will be charged if the class is canceled 24 hours before the scheduled event. Guests can add additional seat depending on availability up to 2 hours before the event. We do not refund no show guests and credits will not be given

Later cancellations cannot be honored due to logistical needs.

If the minimum number of students required is not met, we'll need to cancel the class.
