Paint -in-the-Dark
Had no expectations coming into the class and was blown away about how much fun it was! Teo is super talented and for a pretty full class he is able to quickly sketch your inspiration in seconds so that you can start painting. It’s a unique take instead of everyone going home with the same painting you’re able to come to class with a few pictures and teo will let you know which one looks best with the paint. He was an absolute professional. He had different sessions going at the same time like slime drawing, light figure lamp painting and our glow in the dark panting. Would definitely come back to try the others. I will say that it’s black light glow so if you want your work to glow when you get home a cheap Amazon UV light will help. -

Attended a paint and sip for the first time. It was such an amazing experience. I made the empire state with starry nights painting. It came out like a dream. The instructor KT was super knowledgeable, she made it look very easy. I appreciate the step by step guidance. Even though I paint as a hobby, i learnt couple of tips and would definitely recommend this class. Will try to come again! -

This was way more fun than I was expecting. The instructor was laid back but very helpful. I really enjoyed the painting instruction and felt the guidance was very helpful and led to a much better outcome (picture) than I would have ever anticipated. -

Alex was great! He had a good sense of humor and explained the steps of the painting clearly. We did have to rush a bit at the end to finish on time, which I think might have been in part because the painting was rather complicated with lots of details. If you're mostly looking to hang out and not focus intently on painting the whole time, I recommend choosing a class with a simple picture. I had fun even while going quickly though! :) -

This was so fun! I brought my friend and we love to do arts projects. We brought our own beer and had a great time. There was not a lot of time to sip our beer during the class but that’s because we were very focused on the artwork. If you are a little unfamiliar with painting I would say the pace of the instruction may be a little fast. But I am already excited to come back. -

This was a brilliant way to spend a Saturday! Melisse was terrific and the studio is cozy and had every type of material to dive into a day of creativity and calm. I will definitely be back -

Overall, I like the course very much. It's affordable and located in the heart of Manhattan. The workshop itself feels very artsy, welcoming and comfortable. I also like that I can BYOB. The instructor is also very friendly and easy to interact with. All the supplies are provided to make for a very smooth experience. My only complaint is that the instructor is going a little too fast for me. Perhaps this course could benefit from a 30-minute extension? Overall, wonderful experience and I would definitely book again. -
