The Art and Artistry of Chanticleer: Dan Benarcik
I honestly did not know that this was a lecture only class. Seeing as I don't have a background in Botany this lecture was amazing. Dan was heartfelt in his delivery of the subject matter. I learned that being creative with landscape design is challenging yet very rewarding. Dan made a Botany believer out of me. Job well done! -

Introduction to Interior Design
Great school, great class. I loved how basic the course was e it inspired me a lot. -
AutoCAD Level 1
This course was GREAT with an amazing teacher, I highly recommend it. AutoCAD is such an intimidating program but Joe D was able to articulate everything you needed to know so well that it put me at ease. The pace of the class was great, he made sure to ask questions that kept you thinking while keeping you engaged. Joe mentioned he'd been teaching AutoCAD for 30+ years but after three days I could swear he birthed this program, that's how deep his knowledge goes. What truly impressed me was how he seems to know everything about CAD and is still wants to know more. E.g. I had mentioned I was going to be using AutoCAD for Mac and he even asked if I could just let him know what the differences are. Wow That's an educator! I'm eager to learn more from him and so I've just signed up for the next Level 2 course I can take. -
AutoCAD Level 1
I really loved this class! As someone who has long been intimidated by CAD, I was so pleasantly surprised to pick up so much, so quickly with the help of our instructor, Joe D. Joe is hilarious, smart, and the boy does the man KNOW CAD! I don’t mean he understands it, he knows the software inside and out, buoyed by 30+ years of using it in professional and academic settings. He teaches in a way that helps develop skills and techniques that are marketable because he also teaches to professionals in the “real world”. He has fun teaching, which means you have fun learning, which means you learn a lot. Simple as that. This class is 110% worth it. Highly, highly recommend. -
Intermediate Revit

AutoCAD Level 1
Joe the instructor was awesome. He made the class fun and no so monotone. Will recommend this course to others. -
AutoCAD Level 1
Instructor is very thorough and, just as importantly, very experienced in AutoCAD. He goes over each concept a few times, so if you get lost, just follow what he does and when he explains it again, you’ll catch up. He is still also very responsive to questions. As a previous user of AutoCAD, I still learned a lot of tips and tricks to increase productivity. -

Landscape Measurement
I you're into busting out tape measures and levels, and getting hands dirty learning how to map out and record elevation to scale then this is the class for you. To be honest as a middle age white dude who just wanted to learn how to design and install level garden beds, I was a bit concerned that I might feel a little out of place taking a class in the gardening section out at the Botanical Gardens. But happy to report I felt right at home, and thought the instructor had a lot of real world experience like someone you'd run into out on a site.
