What you'll learn in this baking class:

Are you an aspiring baker? Learn the tricks of the trade in our hands-on bread baking class – great for both beginner and intermediate bakers! 

This is one of our more comprehensive bread baking classes where we not only discuss the recipes and techniques, but the science that goes behind bread baking.

In this three hour class, you’ll learn the ten steps of bread baking, from ingredient selection to kneading, shaping and baking. We’ll work with two basic dough recipes to create a classic baguette, mini baguettes, chocolate & cheese-filled rolls and fruit & nut whole wheat batards!
School Notes: Please make sure to arrive 5-10 minutes early to class as we start right on time. In addition, please walk directly into the bakery and not the restaurant.
If you must cancel or reschedule class please email [email protected] as soon as possible. - At least two weeks withdrawal notice required for full refund. - Class credit for notice given 3-13 days before scheduled class date (student can attend class at a later date, when there is space available). - No refund or credit for notice given 72 hours or less before scheduled class date.

Attended: Bread Baking Basics
The instructor was very thorough and encouraged questions. She loves what she does and it shows. This is a great class to take if you love quality bread but dont like extra ingredients. Only 4 here for the conscious eater! We also had a ton of bread to take home so be prepared.

Excellent class! Perfect for beginners and seasoned bakers alike. My partner in crime has never touched bread dough, and she was super comfortable with the process from start to finish by the end of class. I've been baking bread for years. I learned a ton, and my bread is a LOT better as a result. Jack is an excellent instructor. His knowledge and experience are priceless, and he's very patient in covering any point that anyone asks to review. He loves to teach, and he loves baking. The "classroom" is awesome. It's small enough that students don't feel lost or overwhelmed, but the environment and equipment are capable of producing commercial quantities of outstanding bread. We had a blast! Go! You'll be thrilled that you did. Most importantly, what you'll learn will carry over to your home oven and kitchen.
