It’s all in our name! NY Cake is the best place to come and get your decorating on. In this, the first in our series, you’ll focus on buttercream. Learn how to frost and fill a cake and then we’ll teach you how to pipe like a pro. We will cover tools and piping skills including; shells, stars, zig-zags, rosettes, writing, drop flowers and leaves....

Have a budding baker at home? Get something sweet out of them. Have them enroll in the week for $475 or pick out just one or two days to learn something sweet for $110/day. Join us for this super fun floral naked cake class. We will have 3 layers of yummy cake pre-baked for you. We’ll then make some delicious white chocolate funfetti ganache for the inside and then pipe some great buttercream flowers on the side for some spring embellishment.

Drop your kiddo off (6 and under need a chaperone) make an array of colored candy melts to create awesome pops you can immediately pop out and take home. We’ll supply the cute bags and ribbon, you supply the creativity. We’ll make loads of adorable spring shapes that everyone will love.

This is some next level DIY mirror glaze here. Learn the technique to make space-y designs on a cake you frosted together. Each couple will get a glass of champagne and a pre-baked cake to decorate together. Surprisingly simple and surely delicious! The fee is per couple.
Friday May 17th, 7pm - 9pm
Learn how to make delectable buttercream flowers. You’ll learn how to work with buttercream and a piping bag to create Sunflowers, Prim Rose, Apple Blossom and Pansy flowers. You’ll take home your work on a dozen delicious pre-baked cupcakes.

This is a tricky cookie! The best way to learn it is with hands on experience. Our expert instructor will walk you through it all step by step. You’ll get plenty of experience and leave with a box of delicious macarons. We’ll also make some chocolate ganache so you can fill them like a pro.

It’s Friday and time to unwind. What could be more zen than coming to NY Cake and learning how to frost 6 amazing cupcakes and learning new decorating techniques while sipping something yummy. *BYOB anything alcoholic We’ll have strawberry lemonade and all the coffee and tea drinks on hand.
Thursday May 2nd, 7pm - 9pm
Take your royal icing skills up a notch and add hand painted cookies to your repertoire. We’ll have yummy pre-baked sable cookies on hand. Each participant will get 6 pre flooded cookies that are dried and ready to paint with lovely spring motifs. We’ll finish them off with lovely borders.
