In this hands-on cooking class, you will learn to make two different kinds of pasta: gnocchi and gnudi -- tiny delicious dumplings made with potatoes or ricotta. We’ll also make two sauces: a nutty brown butter sage parmesan sauce as well as homemade pesto sauce to pair with our freshly made gnocchi and gnudi.
Chef Angela, an authentic Italian chef, will demonstrate how to make gnocchi and gnudi, followed by the class making the dough, then hand forming and cutting them into little delightful pillows. You will use Chef Angela’s gnocchi board brought from Italy to form the grooved pasta. We'll also make an Italian antipasto salad with dressing, and crunchy garlic bread to pair with the pasta. You'll walk away knowing how to make well-crafted dough, how to form the pasta, and what it takes to put together an authentic Italian meal to impress your family and friends!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
