Description
What you'll learn in this meditation class:
Ecstatic Dance is meditation in movement. It is about being fully in our bodies and listening to how our bodies want to move in each moment, with ourselves and in relation to others in the space. Being in motion and quieting our minds ignites creativity, connection, and community.
We will move through different tempos and rhythms in a wave: beginning in stillness, building up to chaotic catharsis, and back down into stillness again, with a playlist that will make your heart sing.
As soon as you enter the space, you are invited to let go of judgments and expectations, and allow yourself to feel your emotions, sensations, body, mind, and spirit.
Flow for the evening:
We will settle in with a short meditation and then move through the one-hour music set and come together at the end for reflections and closing.
