Explore New York’s “Real” Little Italy: the Belmont section of the Bronx along Arthur Avenue where many Italian immigrants settled during and after building the Bronx Zoo.
Bronx resident, Historian and Food Aficionado, Susan Birnbaum, takes you to some of her most cherished spots. Taste the best, authentic Italian treats available anywhere in New York.
See thin ribbons of fresh pasta and warm, fresh mozzarella being made before your eyes. Susan even knows a man who’s been hand rolling cigars for decades. Munch on cheese, sweet cannoli and many more delicious tastings! We meet at Grand Central Station. Arrangements can be made to meet in the Bronx if more convenient.
The price for this course includes two and half hour walking tour with generous snacks along the way.
Meeting sites can be found with your confirmation email. All tours begin at or near subway stations. Most tours do not end where they began.
Some tours have special instructions, so please review the information on the confirmation email carefully.
