Nancy Mandel has been singing Sacred Harp for 13 years. She leads the monthly Brooklyn three-book singing, has done (nearly) all the big-singing jobs from registration table to Chair, and has used fasola syllables to solve problems in Renaissance polyphony. The highest altitude at which she’s sung shapenote is 5,430 feet. We’ll also have guest instructors from the New York Sacred Harp community.
