About Kyle Tigges:
Kyle Tigges is a musical artist and teacher born and raised in middle America who is currently residing in New York City. You can find Kyle happily sharing a wide mix of upbeat and bittersweet music with folks of all ages in and around the NYC and Hudson Valley areas. Primarily a singer/songster and guitarist, Kyle is also an experienced banjo and harmonica player. His teaching is relaxed and foundational in nature with a deep respect for music as a personal and communal practice. Currently, Kyle is studying fiddle, sitar, and contemporary folk songs from the country of Ladakh.
About Chris White:
Chris White, also known as Isto, is a musician and music teacher originally from Hamilton, a small town in the Leatherstocking Region of New York State. He started playing guitar at the age of 9, and grew up studying music, singing, writing songs, and performing in different contexts. After majoring in Music at Wesleyan University with a concentration in composition, he moved to Brooklyn in 2006. He has since taught hundreds of people to play the guitar and ukulele. He has also helped many people with their singing, songwriting, and various other musical skills. He has over 20,000 subscribers on youtube, where he regularly posts videos. His original music often features humor, and he is known for his unique, stylistically broad guitar playing, his baritone voice, his arrangements/interpretations of songs from the Great American Songbook, and his improvisational stage antics. He once performed at an office party in the building next to Carnegie Hall. He currently lives off the PATH train in Newark, NJ with his wife and kids.
