  The Textile Arts space was great. The instructor Nicole was lively and very informative. I learned to really appreciate Indigo dye in a different way. It is a precious, though accessible, substance with a long history. I hope to have the living situation some day that would allow me to really explore this medium deeper. Thanks for a great workshop!

  The class was very interesting and the instructor was knowledgeable. Due to circumstances beyond her control, there was some trouble with the first batch of dye, but we were able to try again a second time. Two suggestions that might make things a bit easier for all: If the teacher provided everyone with pre-cut fabrics, so that everyone had the same size and number of pieces, that would be good (and if people brought their own stuff to dye, they could do so at the end, not during). Second, I think it would be good if the process of how to prepare the material, dye it, rinse, etc., were explained more clearly, especially for beginners. Instructor followed up with emailed information, which was nice. However, the class was very comfortable and a good experience trying something different. Thank you!
