Eva Salina

Teaches at The Jalopy Theatre and School of Music

She is the musical director of the Jalopy Chorus and instructor for the Jalopy Junior Folk Chorus. With a lifetime of experience in traditional music, she specializes in the vocal traditions of Eastern Europe and other harmony singing cultures, ranging from the Balkans to Caucasus Georgia, Ukraine to Corsica, and has 16 years of teaching experience. She has developed educational presentations for Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, and worked as a guest teacher/resident artist at Bank Street School and Beaver Day School (Boston). She also established youth singing programs at the EEFC’s Balkan Music and Dance Workshops.
