Very nice class, instructor very helpful.

Loved the class!!
-
The instructor cancelled and we never heard back about rescheduling or refunds.
-
Instructor was very patient with us. Appreciated it.
-
The instructor did a great job explaining things. I liked that she had issues with her dough so she could show us how to fix it and not get stressed about every little detail. Lots of good information.
-
The instructor (Chef Kelly) was fantastic - so helpful and thorough - and the croissants came out delicious! Plus, we not only got recipes for croissants, but also monkey bread and strawberry jam. We highly recommend this class! It definitely was helpful to have all ingredients prepped and measured out prior to starting.
-
Took the class with a friend & we had a great time! Would definitely take another class. There was a lot packed into the class.

This class is great really hands on to make sure when I made croissants the next time I had no issues! Definitely would recommend to anyone that loves learning something new and is well to put the elbow work into it!

This was a great class. Chef Kelly really knew her topic & was kind, patient & helpful. I would highly recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn croissant making.
It would have been helpful, though, if the course confirmation had said to have the ingredients already measured and at hand. I did, but we had to wait for others to prep theirs.

I have never taken an online course before and this one was AMAZING!! I'm already signed up for another course on the .. I believe .. 25th. But I will be taking more!
The instructor was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough.
For me, being able to see someone perform the process is key to my learning. In turn, my results were successful.

So unfortunately our croissants did not rise, were not flaky and tasted more like a bagel.
A couple of suggestions may have changed the outcome.
When freezing the square of butter, it would be better to make the jelly and then pull out the butter square. This would have given it time to freeze and maybe the butter would have stayed in the dough. Also the instructor moved quickly and takes a while to read comments. Thus putting you further behind.
Make sure to have everything out and proportioned before class starts.

Very nice class! Tips for the participants: Have your ingrediants prepped, measured and ready to go before class. Also...if you can, have your butter block ready before class....that's VERY helpful too. I smoothed my out in an 8X8 disposable pan lined in plastic wrapped and then stuck in the freezer....it worked beautifully!

Really good and the instructor was excellent. Fast paced!
-
Class was great, it was sometimes hard to keep up moved very quickly
-
This was a great intro to croissant making. The class moved pretty swiftly but the instructor made sure to check in to see that everyone was keeping up. Kellyanne has a great demeanor and is a good Instructor.I would recommend her to others who want to take baking classes or other cooking classes that she may give.

The class I think took was hosted by Kellyanne. It was a lot of fun! I am an experienced home baker but was always intimidated by croissants. The batch that I made with the class came out perfect, and now I have the confidence to make them all the time. I've made them twice since the class! For those interested in the class, I definitely recommend having all ingredients measured out and at the ready as well as having all equipment set out on your counter. Otherwise, instructions were clear, lots of tips were offered, and I really liked that we were able to show Kellyann what was going on with our dough and she would guide us. It was also heartening to see that even experienced chefs hit a snag and how they go about remedying it. Loved it and can't wait to take more classes.
-
First attempt at croissants and they came out fantastic! Very detailed directions and tips.
-
Loved the class. Can't wait to make more croissants!
-
I throughly enjoyed the class and learned a lot. She was very patient and explained the process well (over and over in some cases). I hope to do another class soon!

Chef Kelly is very knowledgeable and gave lots of tips and tricks from the trade. The recipes came out pretty well and will be better next time as some of the steps had to be bypassed or rushed due to time constraints. She was receptive to all questions and slowed down when we asked her to. The pace of the class was pretty fast for many of us and wasn't always at the level of a beginner. There was confusion about the recipes because she was using a different one than we had received in advance, but she quickly shared the one she was using and we all got on the same page. One thing that would be very helpful for future participants is to let them know that all ingredients should be measured and ready to use at the time the course starts. We were not told that and we started out very behind until she realized that we had all our ingredients and tools out as the email stated, but we had not measured them in advance. I recommend this course and love the recipes we made!

Class was great, thanks KelleyAnn. Results were tasty!!
My only note is that students should have beEn told ahead of time to portion out the ingredients so they are all in the same place when we begin.
I will recommend this class!
-
Good recipes including a document with all steps. Instructor went too fast at times and she wasn’t explaining quantities, assuming we all had them right in front of us.
I think it was valuable as croissants are really hard to make. Overall I recommend this class.
-
Very good class with a patient teacher. There was, however, confusion as we received two slightly different ingredient and recipe lists prior to class. It turns out there was a teacher switch, and this teacher used a different recipe. It was not made clear that some recipes, which were listed as optional in one sheet, were actually being taught during class. Had I known this, I would have bought all the ingredients for all the recipes and been better prepared. As it was, I missed out on making the jam. That said, the croissants turned out delicious, which is the most important part!

I really really enjoyed the Croissant class with Kellyann. She was so receptive and welcoming and no question was a stupid question! She was very patient and explained everything multiple times. I will definitely would take classes with her if she offers any. The recipe was great and the taste was fabulous. Thank you for creating this great learning experience at this time of uncertainty and high stress!

Kellyann was a great instructor. She was so patient with anyone that had a question. I enjoyed being able to take the class from my own kitchen and it was so cool being with people from all over the country!
-
Class had a lot of repetition and was boring. My recipe didn't match amounts she was using. After baking, croissant didn't turn out flaky. It was more like bread. Not the result we were looking for. Will try different recipes.
-
Great instructor and excellent recipes! I always thought making croissants was a daunting task, but they really simplified it for a beginner like myself. Clear instructions, excellent variety of recipe options and the instructor was clear and precise with the details, as well as super personable. I highly recommend this course.
-
It was fine. The instructor, who seemed to be an experienced baker, was not very engaging.
I had made croissants before and was looking for technique and elevated baking tips. End product was tasty nonetheless.
-
Great recipe, lots of work but fun. Would like it in one session. Please do a bobka class.

We loved it!
Our instructor was lovely!
Our croissants came out DELICIOUS!
Thank you!!

Thank you for the great class. I made croissants in high school-32 years ago and always wanted to try again!!!
The class was very well laid out and I loved all the tips like taking the temperature of the croissant, using a convection oven, butter choice, doubling up the pans, etc.
I have always loved the almond croissant. At a lovely bakery here in Seattle they are always sold out. I feel like I just learned the best life hack!
Thank you so much!

This was such a fun class. I have wanted to try my hand at croissants for a long time but the recipe and work involved has always been intimidating. With KellyAnn’a expertise guiding us through this process, I feel confident that I can recreate these many times to the point where they will become one of our household favorites!
-
The instructor was very knowledgeable and calm, kind and patient. The timing allotted for all the directions was perfect. The end product was yummy!
-
The instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable and was able to answer all of the questions that were asked. I loved how we go additional recipes for the jam, monkey bread, how to make chocolate croissants, etc. It was a long class, but so worth it!
-
Very good class, the teacher was excellent , very enjoyable.
-
This was a GREAT experience! My croissants turned out super delicious and looked the part! Chef Kellyann was extremely patient and very responsive to questions and critique. I would take this class again, just to have the instruction! Great value, awesome opportunity, delicious product!!
-
Our instructor reviewed techniques and was thorough. Great recipe. Well worth doing.
-
My only complaint is that it was too fast. She spoke very fast. I do not have a KithenAid Mixer and had to do everything by hand. She did show those of us who didn't have the mixer but that was after the others had already started. I believe our instructions should have been first since of course we needed more time..
As far as time goes, I would have benefited much more if this class was 4 hours instead of 3. I was totally exhausted by all the strenuous rolling. It is very difficult to roll out frozen dough (especially 3 times).
Thank you

Course started out slow then went VERY quickly. Because of the timing and the needed rest between steps, my dough did not rise properly. Suggest the timing be adjusted to allow for the refrigeration in between "turns" instead of a short time in the freezer.
Kellyanne was knowledgeable and thorough, also responsive to questions. It was fun to hear her personal insights in the process, as well as her encouragement for those of us beginners. :-)
I would suggest updating the documents sent ahead of time to better prepare the learners for the experience. Some of the steps in the beginning (take the butter out, put the tray in the freezer, etc.) would be helpful to know in advance. The recipe and instructions that were sent ahead of time differed from the instructor's steps slight, causing a bit of confusion.
