Casey Colaneri

Teaches at The Center for Kosher Culinary Arts

the executive chef of The Ridge Steak and Sushi in Monsey, NY. He received his culinary training at renowned culinary college Johnson & Wales University, from where he graduated magna cum laude in 2009. Despite his young age, Casey has already worked as a chef in a diverse collection of restaurants in Ireland, Italy, Scottsdale, AZ, NJ, and NYC. In 2013 he was awarded first place in the 6th annual Kosherfest Culinary Competition. His cuisine is inspired by the flavors of Italy and Asia and he considers cooking kosher to be the most exciting challenge of his career thus far.
