Chardonnay is one of the most popular white wine grape varieties, and with good reason. One of the most seductive attributes of Chardonnay is how versatile it is in its expression. From light-bodied and crisp to full-bodied and tropical, Chardonnay expresses itself very differently depending on its growing climate and winemaking decisions. In this class we will taste a variety of expressions and discuss how and why the wines end up tasting the way they do, and if there is a singular expression that best defines this grape.
