What you'll learn in this korean cooking class:

Find out about the amazing health benefits of Korean food while you enjoy homemade Korean dinner and dessert. Participants will receive recipes to take home and free books on Korean history and culture.

After the demonstration, we will show short documentaries on Korea.

Menu:

Bibimbap Japchae (sweet potato starch noodles with mixed veggies)
Dubu jorim (Soybean curd in braising sauce)
Namool (Green side dishes)

Location is at 107th Str between Columbus & Manhattan Avenues. We will send the accurate address after signing up.

Vegetarian Tradition in Korea

Hi, The meal itself was very tasty, but not vegetarian. The demonstration wasn't as good as it could have been. the food wasn't cooked and the demonstrator was going through the motions of making the food instead of simply making it. We didn't get to see a live demonstration of how someone would actually cook those dishes. Also, It would have been cooler to be able to cook the dishes ourselves. The documentaries were interesting and everyone in the staff was very kind.
