What you'll learn in this glass blowing class:

In this six-week class students will learn how to execute many of the moves needed to bend glass tubing at the torch. Students will then design their own patterns in accordance to the bends they learned. After all of the sections of the pattern are complete, the pieces will get welded together to form either one or a composition of continuous lines with an electrode on each of the opposing ends. Each component goes through the exciting process of bombardment, then the tubes are filled with one of the noble gases – neon, argon, xenon. Students are also given tutorials on how to finalize their neon units, and safely install and wire them indoors at home. Note: Students can request for up to five pieces to be pumped and completed as part of this class.
