Susan Giovanoni

Teaches at City Kids Dance

Susan is a dancer, choreographer, and educator. She has been a dancing for 24 years, studying ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop, and improvisation. She received her BA from Wheaton College (MA), with major in English, and a minor in Theater and Dance Studies. It was during college that she gained her first teaching experience through the Boston Ballet’s Education and Outreach Department. She received her Master of Arts degree in Dance Education from New York University in 2011, becoming a New York State certified Teacher of Dance, for grades preK-12. She has taught in various settings including preschool programs, NYC public schools, private studios, community centers (Harkness Dance Center at 92Y), summer camps, and after-school and outreach programs.
