Ruby Gertz

Teaches at M Avery Designs

Ruby has always had a passion for designing and sewing clothing, and has a BFA in Fashion Design from Pratt Institute. In addition to teaching sewing classes, Ruby works in admissions at her alma mater and freelances as a seamstress and patternmaker. Most of all, she enjoys sharing her skills with others and helping them to create pieces as unique as them! She lives in Brooklyn and enjoys painting her nails and riding her bicycle all over the place!
