Molly Lehman

Teaches at New York Yoga

Molly Lehman received a BA from James Madison University where she studied Dance and Kinesiology. She always thought she would continue performing forever, until she was injured and started practicing yoga to heal. With the heart of a dancer, yoga was a natural transition and a way to share her love for movement and anatomy. Molly was certified to teach with Yoga Spirit Studios and Healing Center in Hamilton, MA. Upon graduating she moved to NYC where she has been teaching privately and to large groups since 2004. Later Molly received a 600hr RYT and Dharma Yoga Registered Teacher Levels 1-4 certification. She feels blessed to have studied with the beloved Yoga Master Sri Dharma Mittra ("the rock of yoga"), direct recipient of the Sri Swami Kailashananda lineage. Molly received training to practice Holistic Health Counseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories by combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts. Her classes seamlessly combine breath and movement with an eclectic range of music. A liberating and passionate flow that balances flexibility and strength, teaching the body to move with an efficiency that will take your practice deeper. Molly is blessed to be among the community of beautiful souls at New York Yoga.
