Mary Gillen

Teaches at New York Yoga

Mary Gillen teaches a flowing, breath-centered, vinyasa style yoga with an emphasis on alignment and mindfulness. Her classes are infused with playfulness, creativity and compassion. Mary completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training, prenatal training and restorative training at Om Yoga Center, and she received her kids’ yoga teacher certification from Little Flower Yoga. Mary tries to live in harmony with the yogic principle of ahimsa, or non-harming. She believes this extends from a cruelty-free diet to caring for the earth, oneself and others. She has been teaching yoga since 2006, and is grateful for the opportunity to share this liberating gift.
