Marisa Lieberman

Teaches at New York Yoga

Marisa is grateful to have found her first teacher whose guidance, love and energy awakened her luminosity. Humbled and inspired by how meaningful her yoga practice is in her life, Marisa has a strong desire to share this practice with others. Marisa received her 200-hour Vinyasa Certification at Sonic Yoga. She then went on to complete the 300-hour Jivamukti Teacher Training and will have completed her 800-hour Certification by Summer 2011. Each of her classes is a challenging and uplifting experience filled with joy and love. Her teaching focuses on allowing every movement and breath to create total harmony within oneself. In Marisa's class, everyone experiences her energy and enthusiasm, as well as your own individual newly awakened and refreshed energy. Marisa’s practice and teaching are a humble offering to her beloved teachers: Phil Budin, Sharon Gannon, David Life and Cassandra Rigney.
