Lorin Silverman

Teaches at Brooklyn Glass

Lorin Silverman is a NYC glass artist who started working with glass in his early teens. He is the founder and owner of Eidos Glass Designs, LLC., a company dedicated to the meticulous design of handcrafted lighting and home décor. Lorin received his BFA in Glass from Alfred University and has studied with Italian maestros Dino Rossin, Pino Signoretto, and the late Elio Quarisa. Lorin is a frequent instructor at The Corning Museum of Glass. In addition to making his own glass art, Lorin works with artists and designers who use glass as a medium, helping them create their work. Lorin’s work has exhibited at galleries in NYC, Philadelphia, Virginia and at The Studio at The Corning Museum of Glass. His work is also in several private collections
