Meera Jagroop

Teaches at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Meera Jagroop is manager of BBG's Discovery Garden and Family Programs. She holds a BS in natural history from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and an MSEd from Bank Street College of Education. Having spent most of her life in cities, Meera is especially interested in nature's presence in urban environments. She is passionate about integrating the arts and sciences and inspiring wonder and curiosity about the natural world for learners of all ages.
