Larry has formal background and over ten years of experience as a social worker in NYC working with diverse populations of clients and diagnoses. Over the last five years Larry has had extensive study and training with multiple shamanic teachings from a variety of cultures including receiving professional certification from the Light Body School of Dr. Alberto Villoldo’s Four Winds Society, and a one year intensive apprenticeship with Irma StarSpirit Woman & Itzhak Beery. It is through this ability to mix and incorporate these ancient techniques and translate them for a modern culture and diverse clientele that Larry has developed his own style of medicine to share.

She is a Medicine Woman honoring the ways of the curanderas (medicine healers) and medicine elders of her Mayan & Taino descent. She is a Shamanic/Crystal teacher and a Reiki Master, Certified Crystal Healer, Toltec Dreamworker. Irma StarSpirit Woman uses sound healing, fire readings, crystals, and works with the "poderios", the elemental forces we need to keep an open channel of communication. Her style is accompanied by prayer work and traditional indigenous ceremonies to heal her community with heart.
