Teaches at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Krissie Nagy has been making and selling her whimsical kokedama at the Brooklyn Flea since April, 2013. She is also the owner of BK Bumpkin, an ecological garden design/build firm based in Brooklyn. When Krissie isn't building a garden or making a moss ball, she is usually cooking meals at home and feeding her pet worms the kitchen scraps.

This was a great class! Krissie was an awesome teacher, completely engaged in the material, and she answered everyone’s questions patiently, with an infectious enthusiasm for gardening :)

The course was great, but it was supposed to go from 2-5 and was over an hour early. Would've loved more time working in the dirt.
