Aurélie Gabriele

Teaches at French Institute Alliance Française

Aurélie was born and raised in Lyon. She graduated from an optical school ISO (Institut Superieur d'Optique) and became an optician in 2005. Interested in travel, she worked as a French tour operator in Egypt, Greece and Sicily. Aurelie came to New York in 2011 as an “au pair” for a family on Long Island. 

There, she gained an interest in teaching French to children. She joined the FIAF APP program in January 2014. She is also currently studying to She is currently studying to sit the DAEFLE (Diplome d'Aptitude a l'Enseignement du Francais Langue Etrangère).
