was always going to be a soccer coach in some capacity. But as destiny would have it, it was far less about the destination and more about the journey- a journey that would take him from the warm beautiful hills and valleys of Jamaica to the ever-changing climate of New York City. It was in New York where  decided to settle with his family. Although coaching was always on his radar, it was as a player where Jermaine thrived and achieved success at the high school and college levels. From a Jamaica National under17 player to an All-Conference College player, Jermaine had to make the ultimate decision after graduating from college with a BA degree in Economics. Should he pursue a professional Soccer playing career or a Masters Degree program in International Business? He would choose the latter. Since earning his MBA at Florida International University, Jermaine has been working in the field of finance. As an Operations Manager, Jermaine works with a company that offers global foreign exchange payment services for Charities and NGOs. Jermaine’s finance background complements his drive to be a great coach and this may be seen in his enthusiasm to work with the future young bright players of the united states of America. And to put the icing on the cake, he is a long time fan supporter of the Manchester United football club in England! His father preached punctuality from a tender age, which has instilled in him the importance of being on time, his mother inspires him, his wife keeps him honest, his daughter keeps him youthful, his siblings remind him of how far he has come and his elders remind him that the choices he makes will brighten his family’s future.
