I've been practicing yoga for over ten years, but in 2014, after facing eviction and quitting (one of many) toxic jobs, daily returns to my yoga mat and a recommitment to my holistic health saved me. As an under-employed Black Latinx queer femme living with depression + anxiety, yoga is integral to my healing, yet it is too often inaccessible to folx like me. I'm beyond excited and humbled to be able to provide free and accessible yoga classes to people who can most benefit from connecting the body, the mind, and the breath: trans and queer people of color, Black femmes, immigrant cuties, and low- and no-income folx. there is no room for love in imperialist, white supremacist, capitalist cishetpatriarchy, but in our classes, love and queer magic abound.
