Teaches at FluxWork Studio

Megan Isaacs has been practicing her art of metalsmithing for over ten years and has been teaching it for two. Her work has been featured in top publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Zink, and Vogue magazines. She has exhibited in the Forbes Gallery, Aaron Faber Gallery, the Smithsonian Museums and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh. Her creations have been seen on the runway in five official NYFW presentations. On top of designing and hand making all her own collections she has designed for top brand names such as Kenneth Cole, Betsey Johnson, Robert Lee Morris, Diane Von Frustenberg, and Chicos.

Had a wonderful time with Megan! Learned a lot about working with metals, all the different steps that go into creating a metal piece, and was super satisfied with the ring I ended up making. Highly recommended for beginners looking to make a custom piece of jewelry and learn about the craft at the same time.
