Kimberly Sevilla, owner of Rose Red and Lavender, will lead students through an array of classes. Kimberly worked at the USDA Appalachian Fruit Research Station for four years as a research assistant while working towards a degree in Biology and Chemistry at Shepherd University. She attended FIT and Parson's and eventually found a niche designing and building window displays, trade show displays and museum exhibits. In 2008, Kimberly decided to make another life change and open a garden center and floral design studio in Brooklyn called Rose Red & Lavender where her focus would be on unique Plants, stunning floral design and growing organic food in small spaces.Her work has since been featured in New York Magazine, Time Out New York, Bride's Magazine, Style Me Pretty, Ruffled, and The Knot.

Floral Design Basics

Not very educational thought we would learn more about the flowers we were using for the bouquet. The teacher did not seem confident in her teaching. It also seemed very over priced as the bouquet we made would cost no more then $30 dollars at a store. Upside the flowers were pretty.
