The Engaging Educator is a fierce group of dedicated ladies who are committed to helping others find their best, most unapologetic and confident voice, communication style and self.
We know you are full of ambition, ideas and goals – and we want to help you best express those AND achieve them with our brand of improv-based adventures.
Our goals are simple: we want you to leave our programs with a clearer idea of WHO you are and WHERE you want to be – and have actionable steps to get rolling on that path of awesomeness. We LOVE fun for fun’s sake – we also LOVE plans, ideas, action-items, progress and positive-risk-taking. Come grow with us!
Such a fun class! Most of what we 'learned' about storytelling wasn't new information, but practicing it was helpful.
The class was really great and well structured, I gained a lot of value. The facility wasn't the best mostly because there wasn't a lot of space and it was hot hot.
A few folks were late and it delayed getting started
I loved how safe the space created by the host and the other participants made me feel. The class helped me understand a lot of what goes on in my brain in relations to communication, and how and why I perform the way that I do in certain situations. I’m glad I tried this!
Could include slightly more improv technique practicing though. I do understand the time constraint also. Overall it’s good coverage on things we are concerned about.
Too many mindless activitire. I was looking for more information on the way to improve and build confidence. Not playing games. Nice facilitator and great group of women. Not my cup of tea though Thanks for the opportunity to try something new ay
I’d suggest a retitle for this class to “Improv Games + Public Speaking Practice Session.” We played a handful of improv games (one called Pass the Clap, yet no one laughed). The biggest storytelling lesson was “stories have a beginning, a middle, and an end” and the we told a story to the group for 2 min. There were no strategies for telling better stories or constructive feedback given after. I do not recommend.
It def suprised me but in a great way and it was fun! I met some cool people and kearned about myself a bit
It was a great experience.
I really enjoyed the course. Jasmin, our instructor, was amazing! Every class was a lot of fun and definitely helped me to learn some great techniques that can be used in real life. Highly recommend!!!
