Classical Studio Techniques
Join artist Eric Michelson for an in-depth introduction to the technical process of painting in a classical tradition. Each student will have the unique opportunity to grind and tube paint, make and apply true gesso to a panel, mix a medium, transfer their drawing to the panel and finally begin their own painting. Students will explore their own ideas and interests on subject matter with painting media, working directly from their own individual projects at home.
