Forest Explorers

Rooted in the traditions of the Forest School model, this drop-off outdoor nature program nurtures self-confidence and determination, and deepens children’s connection to the Earth. Through sensory-based learning in our natural environment, children uncover nature’s treasures, create meaningful community, and form enduring relationships. Children will be guided through this three-hour outdoor program by experienced educators who put the social, emotional, and physical needs of your children first.

We welcome children ages 2 through 6 who are willing and excited to be outdoors in all kinds of weather. 

All new registrants are asked to first complete a questionnaire to help determine whether the Forest Explorers program is the right fit for their family. Our goal is to make sure we are able to accommodate the physical, social, emotional and nutritional needs of each child while building a positive, nurturing community in each class. Once the questionnaire process is complete, the teachers read through the responses as a team, build classes based on the information we received, and invite new families to register.
