Fresh herbs galore, crispy vegetables, sweet and spicy seafood, and spice-ladened pho broth. The combination of flavors and textures you'll be introduced to in this class cannot be beat.

School Notes:
You’ll receive a complete recipe packet and enjoy a full sit-down meal at the end of class with your classmates. Our classes are BYOB, and you are welcome to bring a bottle to share at the sit-down meal.

Our classes are hands-on, coupled with demonstration-style teaching. Everyone is situated at their own cutting board/chef’s knife station around a large wooden worktable that accommodates the whole class (10 people max). We work together as a group, with the chef at the head of the table.

We focus on knife skills, preparing ingredients for cooking, and we strive to find every opportunity to offer you a hands-on experience at the stove and at your station, all within the spacial parameters of a single stove/family-style kitchen. We ask for volunteers to assist in all cooking.

Refund Policy
We have a firm 48-hour cancellation policy to ensure that we have enough time to re-fill your seat with another student. For cancellations prior to the 48-hour mark, we are happy to offer credit for a future class.

While it is not in our nature to say no, we are not able to offer credit/refund for last-minute illnesses or work-related conflicts. However, you are always welcome to send someone in your place, because we understand these things do happen.

Hi, I’m interested in bringing my girlfriend to the Vietnamese cooking class. She absolutely loves pho but is unfortunately allergic to fish. Short of altering the menu that is already present. Is there a way to work around this? Possibly use a different protein in the spring rolls or something?

Hi there! Unfortunately, there is fish sauce in every dish so this is not a good choice for her.

I like Erika. She is entertaining and she explains how things are done step by step. Best of all, she assigns tasks so that you get to participate in the class. The class was fun and festive. On the other hand, I do want to leave some feedback about this class. The title of this class says Pho. So one would naturally imagine and reasonably expect that the class is going to spend some time on how to develop the rich flavor and aroma in this amazing dish. I do understand that the broth takes a long time to cook so that the amazing flavors can be extracted during the cooking process. When we started the class, the stock was already cooking for two hours. This part is okay. Then what we did basically was throw the vegetables and spices in the soup and then walked away. It was until at the end of the class that we covered on how to assemble this pho dish. I came to this class expecting how to develop the great broth. However, I was a bit disappointed that I did not get to learn what I hoped for. In all honesty, all these other dishes were great too, but I am fully willing to pay for the whole class just to learn the secret to develop the wonderful broth. All the other dishes are bells and whistles to me. And I was not satisfied with the broth that we developed in the end. I was not satisfied with the class but I was happy with the instructor. That's why I gave it a neutral rating.
