What you'll learn in this sewing class:
Learn how to sew! Learn where to shop for your fabric! Create your own cosplay & props! Create your own patterns and sketches!
Important Things to Note:
Important Things to Note:
- Cosplay classes are open to everyone of all skill levels. Instruction will take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour, and free sewing and practice will take place after.
- You are welcome to bring your costumes to work on!
- Bring your cosplay ideas to class, and we’ll work together to bring your ideas to life!
- Sewing machine
- Straight pins
- Thread and hand needle
- Simplicity 3639 pattern
- One package of 1/4″ elastic
- Buttons (6) or 20″ of 3/4″ velcro
- 2 pairs of scissors (one for fabric, one for patterns) Up to 4 yards of fleece
Refund Policy
- Cancellations made at least 3 business days in advance of the class will be honored with a refund less a 5% nonrefundable registration fee.
- Students who cancel less than 3 business days prior to the start time of the class will receive a credit towards a future class.
- No credit/refund if cancellation is made less than 1 business day before class time.
For Japanese Flower Arrangement: Ohara Ikebana Classes by HANADOJO:
- The class sign up deadline is 3 business days before the class begins.
- Cancellation after this period will NOT be refunded.
For Japanese Flower Arrangement: Misho Ikebana class:
- The class sign up deadline is 2 business days before the class begins.
- Cancellation after this period will NOT be refunded.
For Japanese Ink Painting (Sumi-e):
- The class sign up deadline is 1 business day before the class begins.
- Cancellation after this period will NOT be refunded.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

This class was very disorganized and ended up being more of a sales pitch for a long-term weekly sewing workshop through Resobox. We looked at different parts of a sewing machine for 2 hours and were told by a Resobox rep not to sign up for future classes on CourseHorse, but to use Resobox instead.
