In this workshop you will have the space to tap into your creativity. With a small group of 4 people, you will be led through the process of creating a tufted rug or wall hanging using sustainable and durable materials. You get to choose the design, colors, and make it by hand with a tufting gun.
What is included?
You will be provided with your own workspace including:
You have the option to wait to pay the material fee until the day of the workshop. The supplies fee covers enough materials to make an approximately 2ft x 2ft rug or wall hanging. You are also welcome to make multiple smaller pieces as long as they fit on the same frame.
Can multiple people work on the same frame?
Up to two people are allowed to work on one design! The perfect date, roommate bonding, or fun friend activity! Note you will only make one tufted piece.
How long is the workshop?
The workshop will be around 6 hours long depending on the complexity of your design and how quickly you work. You are welcome to leave once you are finished. After the workshop, I will be gluing and finishing the back of your piece with felt. If you would like rug pad backing it will be an additional fee. Your tufted pieces will be available for pick up or shipping about 1-2 weeks after the workshop.
Important:
Wear comfortable clothing, bring lunch if you would like.
Workshop fees are non-refundable, but you may reschedule if you notify us one week prior to your class. If the school cancels the class, you will receive a full refund.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
