Arduino is an open source electronics platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It is intended for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments.

Arduino is an open source electronics platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It is intended for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments.
Important Things to Note:
- During this workshop, you will learn and build your first working Arduino project from start to finish.
- We will walk you through the installation of the software and programming environment to give you a basic understanding of the Arduino hardware. You will also be introduced to basic programming code.
- During this session you will learn how to create an electronic circuit that will light up LEDs and experiment with altering the code to change how the LED behaves.
- We'll talk about a variety of sensors, buttons, motors, and more that you can integrate into your projects.
- This technology is changing the way people make things. You can prototype pretty much any kind of interactive system with this. Once you learn the basics the sky is the limit!
- You could make your own self watering gardening system, build a robot, experiment with creating clothing that lights up, or an art installation reacting to sensors. Google “arduino projects” and see all sorts of amazing things people have invented.
