Alex was welcoming and gracious. The four galleries were sufficient and interesting. What would have been helpful for me was a handout, listing the name of the gallery, location, and the artist's name. The four we visited did not include the artist name in the gallery proper. Nor did the gallery identify the medium used, except when either the gallery owner or artist was speaking. I thought the Ki Smith Gallery was the best. The class was overpriced for what it was. We spent so much time talking about Andy Warhol that it made me sleepy. It was almost an hour. We spent maybe 30-45 mins to paint and waiting in line to get the screen print of the work. Would’ve liked if we were able to use our own artwork in instead of using Andy Warhol’s print. -

It was great; I may even go back again with other friends some day. I've already recommended it some people I know who enjoy arts/crafts. I enjoyed the history/background at the beginning, as well as the actual silkscreen printing activity. It was a full house the evening I went, which was fun, and not an issue for me, but potentially a bit overly close quarters for some. -

Katrina was very helpful to us and quickly made us comfortable with the mechanics of the materials and process. She touched on an interesting array of techniques and showed examples of what can be done. We could see that there was still plenty to learn but that a little effort and practice could give us pleasing results. We're busy thinking up projects that could employ these materials as we improve our skills. A very enjoyable class experience. -

I am finding this art form meditative and fun. I am glad I took the course and got introduced to the fundamentals. Katrina Acebedo was an amazing instructor. Good energy, warm, friendly, helpful. -
