What you'll learn in this novel writing course:

Bringing a novel to life is a lengthy process of commitment. Students will learn the process of planning, moving the narrative forward, developing memorable characters, describing scenes, introducing elements of conflict and tension, and the techniques of novel writing. They will hone their writing style and perfect their literary voice, through rewriting, revising, and polishing their work.

By the end of the course, students would have completed the first two chapters of their novel, bringing it on the way to completion. Their writing will be discussed and analyzed during class.

Prerequisites: Writing Fiction and Advanced Writing Fiction
