What you'll learn in this kids academic class:

This academic enrichment program is aligned to the Common Core in both English Language Arts and Math. Our goal is to provide students the tools to master these subject areas and to steadily build on their skills and prepare for the New York State tests administered in the spring. 

All classes are taught by New York State certified teachers who will evaluate and monitor student progress. Overall performance in both subject areas will be measured, along with teacher evaluations, and promotional portfolios. Parent/teacher conferences will be scheduled before the end of the semester.

ELA Schedule
Tuesdays, September 19 - December 19

Required Materials:
Students are required to bring a notebook and pencil. All other review materials will be provided.

Refund Policy
Summer Camp Cancellation Policy for Children and Teens

All camps are subject to cancellation by Wagner College due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation by Wagner College, you will receive a full refund. Once a camp has begun, no refunds will be issued. Any cancellations made by campers prior to camp start date will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee per camper per camp session.


Fall and Spring Cancellation Policy for Children and Teen Programs

All programs are subject to cancellation by Wagner College due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation by Wagner College, you will receive a full refund. Once a program has begun, no refunds will be issued. Any cancellations made by students prior to camp start date will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee per student per program.

Cancellation Policy for Adult Continuing Education Classes

All courses and workshops are subject to cancellation by Wagner College if the minimum enrollment is not attained. In the event of cancellation by Wagner College, students will be notified and refunds will be issued in full in the same form of payment made by the student at registration. If the student must cancel his/her registration, a refund will be issued if Wagner College Department for Lifelong Learning is notified of cancellation at least 3 business days prior to the start of class, minus a cancellation fee. Any cancellations less than 3 business days prior to class start will forfeit a refund. No refunds will be given for online classes once the class begins. In some instances, extensions may be granted for online classes at the discretion of the instructor and institution for an additional fee.
