Join us for this fun and hands-on class where you will learn to make empanadas, one of Mexico's most beloved street foods. Beginning with the fundamentals, you will learn how to make the corn dough from scratch, which is the essential component of authentic empanadas. You will have three recipe options to choose from: cheese, vegetable, and ground beef empanadas. You will prepare fillings based on your selection, then fill the dough pockets and fry them to crispy perfection. From sauces to garnishes, you will experience the full flavors of Mexico in NYC.
No cooking experience is required for this class. We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you do not already have them. Our events are casual and designed to be fun and instructive rather than overly technical, making them ideal for both cooking enthusiasts who want to participate in every step and newcomers who prefer to observe, assist, or sample the results.
Important Information:
Cancellation or reschedule request has to be made at least 5 business days before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 16 business days for groups of 6 people or more.

However, you are always welcome to send someone in your place because we understand things could happen.
