What you'll learn in this dye class:
Get a little color crazy and join us for an Open Dye Night in the WE GATHER Studio.
We’ll help you turn your weekday drab into some seriously mesmerizing color excitement. No experience necessary - this workshop is perfect for the textile newb and seasoned enthusiast alike.
Bring up to three dyeable pieces* (t-shirts, totes, scarves, socks, pillow cases, undies, etc.) and we’ll provide everything you need to transform them into something magical.
We’ll mix a palette of our favorite dye colors and provide instruction on how to use shibori resist methods with immersion dye techniques on your favorite fabrics. You’ll walk away with whatever you came in with - with some magical color upgrades!
Not only is this special workshop BYOF(abric), it’s also BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite bevvie to enjoy during the evening.
We suggest wearing/bringing an apron or clothing that you don’t mind splashing with dye.
* We’re so psyched that you want to transform your sheets and curtains, and after this workshop you’ll have the skills necessary to tackle that project at home. For the sake of shared dye vats, please limit your selections to small/medium-sized items.
*Our fiber-reactive dyes are formulated for plant-based fibers like cotton, linen, hemp, bamboo, rayon, as well as silk. Check the label to make sure that your item fits in this category.

Refunds are not issued after payment is submitted. All class fees are non-refundable, though you may send another person in your place with notice.
In the event of low enrollment, the school reserve the right to cancel a class at any time. If a class is canceled, enrolled students will be notified at least 48 hours prior to the start of class and will receive a full refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
