What you'll learn in this pie class:

In this workshop, Allison Kave, co-founder of Butter & Scotch (@drunkbakers) and author of First Prize Pies, will walk students through every step of creating a pie from scratch, discussing various techniques and recipes, while providing hands-on instruction and guidance.

Attendees will make all-butter pie dough by hand, learn rolling, crimping, and finishing techniques, and leave with TWO of their own homemade pies to share with lucky friends or family!

For this class:
  • Students are encouraged to BYOP (bring your own pan). Otherwise, disposable pie pans will be provided.
  • All tools necessary to participate in the class are provided for use.
Minimum age to attend the class is 10 and must be accompanied by adult.

Note: Please wear comfortable clothing -- not your fanciest please, and sensible shoes (you will be on your feet for most of the class).

Refund Policy

Minimum 2 business days prior notice required for cancellation/rescheduling offered for other available dates.

Please Note: Class will NOT RUN if we don’t have at least five students. In that event we will contact you in advance of the class to re-schedule or refund your fee if unable to chose another date.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
