The reviews for classes at Foundations of Calligraphy feel that the teacher does not provide enough information and that the class is more of a practice session with minimal instruction. Others appreciate the laid-back atmosphere and enjoy the pens provided. A few students feel that they did not learn anything and did not return after the first class. One student mentioned that the instructor walked around and provided individual help with calligraphy techniques. Overall, students appreciated that the class was informative, helpful, and a fun way to learn calligraphy. Direct quotes from the reviews: 1. "The instructor did go around and helped people individually with their calligraphy technique." 2. "The teacher was nice and did say he would stay longer than the allotted time if we had any questions."
