Description
Modern Calligraphy and Embroidery are incredibly popular at the moment and what better way to have the best of both worlds and combine these beautiful art forms to create stunning effects.
In this beginner friendly, no experience needed class, you will learn the basics of modern calligraphy and layout, and how to design the lettering you wish to embroider. On the second half of the class, you'll learn how to transfer your design to fabric and five different embroidery stitches to use with your calligraphy (and all kinds of embroidered motifs).
As a bonus, you'll also learn how to stitch beads and sequins onto your motif, for an extra touch of sparkle.
All materials are included and you'll go home with a hoop, needle, fabric, and embroidery floss, all in a cute cotton drawstring bag that is begging to be "calligrabroidered" with your newfound skills!
Note:
Comfortable clothing, apron, beverages and snacks, a blanket if we're sitting on the grass.
Refund Policy
- Students can reschedule to another class anytime as long as it's within 3 business days of their scheduled class.
- For refunds less 5% cancellation fee, the request has to be made 15 business days in advance of the class they're signed up for.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
