Minsun Kim

Teaches at New York Jewelry Design Institute

Minsun Kim studied western art and sculpture at the Sunhwa Art High School in Seoul Korea, her native land. She also holds a degree in fashion design from Kookmin University. After moving to New York City, Minsun realized her dream as a jewelry designer. As a jewelry designer she is able to utilize all her artistic skills, from design structure & form, to hand crafting and hand drawing. She enjoys designing with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and 3D Jewelry CAD programs.

In recent years she has designed jewelry for a number of successful brands including high-end fine jewelry companies and several New York City based costume jewelry companies. Minsun continues to design special pieces from her own collection for private clients.
