The models are great. Each week there's someone different but all are very professional and assume a variety of interesting poses. Poses during each session are as short as one minute and as long as 20 minutes. This really challenges me to capture the model's essence regardless of how long I have to draw. The atmosphere is non-competitive and non-threatening. We don't critique each other but we do compliment each other during breaks on a very casual basis. The host of the class keeps everything very casual, provides snacks and always has a great playlist which creates a great atmosphere in which to draw.
This uninstructed session begins with short poses for attendees to warm up. The longest poses are 20 minutes. We take a 5-minute break every 20 minutes. There are cookies and fresh water available. We listen to music while we work.
