Carolina is a fantastic instructor. No matter what direction you want to take jewelry making, hobbyist-professional, Carolina will be able to help you along your journey. It is important to know what you get out of this is what you put in. Metalsmithing is thousands of years of knowledge and won’t be compressed into a short amount of time. The first set of classes you will begin to work on basic fundamentals while working on your first pieces. This will require you to interact with businesses up on 47th street, while at times this can be frustrating, the finished jewelry will be worth the time put in. Carolina is very passionate about the art form, and you will learn a tremendous amount in the class. She is very easy to reach if you have questions. -

The instructor is creative and friendly and very experienced. There was much to learn in the class. Unfortunately, for me, being based in Manhattan, it was too difficult to get to the location in Williamsburg so I did not continue the class. -

I am really enjoying the Metalsmithing class. Carolina is not only a very talented jeweler and metalsmither; she is a wonderful teacher and person.! We have many hours to learn and she finds time for each of us. There are usually only 3 other people in the studio at the same time. I am learning the basics of metalsmithing and Carolina is immensely supportive and I made a ring already after only 3 classes. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn metalsmithing, be creative and have some relaxing craft time with a wonderful educator. -

It was the perfect introductory class for someone who has never worked in metalsmithing before, and I felt comfortable learning and growing throughout the 5 week curriculum. Carolina offers a wide variety of expertise and also makes class fun! She gives total creative freedom to her students and ensures that their pieces turn out the way they envisioned. I would absolutely recommend this class for anyone looking to explore a new art medium or solidify skills they already possess in the art of jewelry making. This class is great for people of all levels! I walked away with three beautiful new pieces that I can't wait to show off! -
