It was fine. I don’t think it was really at an intermediate level, and the structure felt a bit too loose for me, and not quite enough time allocated for working on the final piece. I would prefer a predefined curriculum, a quick survey of other artists, a warm up and a main piece. But the schedule is convenient and the people are nice -

I appreciated the feedback and encouragement that was given to each member. I also appreciated Claire's assistance Luke who provided very helpful pointers on my art work. Both of them are great teachers and can tell how much they care about their work. Highly recommend! -

Beginners Drawing: How to Draw a Portrait
Anna was great! She did such a wonderful job showing us exactly how to draw a portrait by using the Loomis grid method. She explained everything so easily. She took time to answer any questions and to allow us to show our work at the end. She was so positive when critiquing our work. I look forward to future classes with Anna Levy. -
Beginners Drawing at the MET Museum
I really enjoyed this class. After the last class, when I was walking through the Degas/Manet exhibit with some classmates, we talked about how the class had changed how we could look at the artwork. I feel like I improved as an artist over the class, and I enjoyed how many topics we covered. Liam did a great job as an instructor--he was very supportive and encouraging, and I really appreciated that. -
